Emily Heersink is an Alabama attorney and strategic consultant focused on public-private partnerships and mission-driven initiatives across Alabama. Her legal and consulting background make her a strong capacity builder and thought partner for businesses and organizations looking to problem solve, identify new opportunities, and leverage funding for long-term growth.

Prior to joining Fortif, Emily practiced as an antitrust litigator, served as a grant writer for a large health and social services nonprofit, founded a nonprofit preschool, and worked as an editor. She brings a diverse skillset, a love for research and an eagerness to go the extra mile to every client engagement. 

Emily lives in Dothan, AL with her husband and four children.
